I just got a piece of 10d jimalax goalie mesh and i was wondering if anyone had tips on how to break it in before i string it

Also...
When i opened up the box from jimalax it had the 10d i ordered but it also came w/ a piece of traditional mesh but its not on the receipt and i didnt order it. Has anyone else gotten this? Im just curious as to if it is cause Jimalax is nice or its a mistake.

Thx

Jimalax is just nice. They give freebies! Just stretch your mesh real good, and string er up. Dont you want to order from them again? Great company.

Personally, on 10d, i hate wetting it. When it drys it rolls up, and gets pretty soft...and that bothers me. I just stretch it real good, and pound it when its strung.

i would use hot water stretch it out, do it again, then conditioner and let it sit for 10 minutes then dry off and put it on

bby the way how long did it take for jimalax to come

The color fades slightly. I used conditioner on my black 10d, and it got a little lighter. But not too much.

no, it might fade a little bit, i used it with neon green mesh and it didnt but you can also use shaving cream if you do just make sure you dont use the gel

How did you get black 10D? They only have it in white and neons, unless you dyed it?

They gave it to me as a freebie a while back. Alicia said something like "I thought some black 10d would look good with your neon green"
