I'm getting a new helmet and I want to know whether to get the Cascade CPX or the Brine Triad XP, both look wicked nasty, so if I could get the pros and cons of them both that would be great

triad hands down. cascade is the de facto helmet, but after i bought my triad, im in love.
pros: incredible vision. probably the best thing about the helmet; very light; great ventilation; military style chin strap (i especially love this because it doesnt fit akwardly and sweat/spit wont pool in it); oc-loc works great
cons: well, it isnt the most protective helmet on the market. it has padding, dont get me wrong, but you could def. have more. and some people think it's hard to get your school logo on it, but i had no trouble with mine.
i dont have the cpx, but i have tried it on, and i personally think the whole one size fits all think is akward at first. however, i didnt have the time to mold it to my head, so im sure it got tons better with time. the vision on the cpx is pretty good as well. the protection is pretty good, and the weight is alright
still, i love my XP. plus, its only $130 at www.lacrossedigest.com go XP

CPX def!!!!!
Personally i hated the straps on the xp....if you get hit in the head the straps would rip off

i've been hit in the head plenty of times and i've had no problem with the straps. i also have never had problems with the chin strap slipping or the buckles on the back snapping open. it has been a dream helmet for me

CPX Is incredible. Its very light, fits very snug, very comfortable. I've tried the STs, but not the XPs. It can be very difficult to get logos on triads though. I cant imagine how a helmet could be better than a CPX, but I really dont have a good opniion as i've only tried one, but I know you wont go wrong if you pick a CPX
Why did we revive this, seeing as how the kid has mostly bought his helmet? I know not, but I'll throw in my two cents.
I bought the XP a long time ago. Like, 8 months or something. I love mine. Nice chin strap, killer pro fit, good vision, lots of steez. I love how ventilated it is. And the protection is fine. I got slapped in the head way hard on Friday, and no straps came undone, everything was fine. Nice piece of equipment.

CPX...
PROS:
- So light its sick.. it feels like ur not wearing a helmet
- The vision is amazing
- The Protection is awesome.. there is so much padding in this
- It'll last a long time... I had a Triad and the straps broke off after 3 days
CONS:
- The one size padding inserts are weird at first and take a couple games/practices to get used to
- It can be really expensive depending on if you get the Regular or Titanium Face Mask
I would personally go with the CPX... It's a wise choice and a Great helmet.

Pros: Doing a search.
Cons: Posting before searching.
Anyways, my vote goes to the CPX because I love their vision, protection, and comfort.

The brine XP looks sooo sweet but when it comes down to durability go with the CPX. Once traids can prove to me they're durable, i'll deff. use one.
