i haven't really kept up much, but i'm guessing we're talking about like the beach style or whatever styled gear, personally i don't know why people think it's a gimmick all it really is is offering shafts in differnt styles and colors, do i think it'll sell that well? no. but i'm just not sure if it classifies under the term gimmick

gimmick: an ingenious device, mechanism, or ploy, especially one that works in a concealed way.

i dont really think its a gimmick because its not trying to take your money. Its a serious shaft thats just offered in a new color. Well, it is trying to take your money but its still giving you a quality product.

I think the swizzle acid will sell because it looks sweet and its made by MP. And no, the limited edition Huntington shafts and swizzle acid are not gimmicks, they're just regular shafts with a unique designs.

The huntington and acid green are just different versions of the 7050...i think. They just have neat patterns ,and colors, and grips.
