Our team has good defense and good offense, but our transition game is really bad. The only time we can ever get the ball up field it seems like is when a d-pole takes it all the way up. This only works until the other team shuts that down too. Does anyone have any advice on clearing plays or tricks?

just keep everybody spread out, its hard to clear when the middies are so close to each other. and also make sure the attack is an option, sometimes d-men are sagged off their attackmen and the goalie can just clear staright to them.

when youre doing a clear off of a save have 1 dpole on both sides of the goalie about 30 feet away(maybe further) keep passing back and fourth between the three of them while middies/ the other long stick cut and set screens for each other

right after the whistle, have one of your middies cross and have an attackman break to the goalie. We run this on our team and it usually works pretty well.
