The way that lax-kiddo has it listed is about the way the protection works...and arm guard (like the g-force arm guard) proctects most of your arm and is good for attackmen and offensive mids who get wacked a lot, elbow guards (if i am correct) cover more of the middle of the arm and the elbow and are good for mids and defensemen looking for more coverage. The arm guard covers either the forearm or the forearm and elbow, good for mids and d-poles, Elbow pads cover almost exclusively the elbow and nothing else, recommended for dpoles only....but if a mid is crazy enough they might find them worth while
