My first try at trad

so my order came in from jimalax yesterday and i decided that i'd try trad cause mesh is boring to string and i got lots of time since im on spring break!! http://community.webshots.com/user/lemurbait ino the shooters are sloppy b/c i threw them in so i could go throw w/ a friend. where its coiled its only b/c i had extra crosslace and i didnt want to cut it cause ill probly restring it soon. just wanted some constructive criticism so i can make it better

So, wait, isn't that a pita pocket with a kind of saddle incorporated? Anyways, good job on it, everything looks correct, but just a tiny tiny but loose in my opinion. But if it throws good, then leave it as it is. Overall it is very nice though, esppecially if that was your first time.

The pocket looks a little shallow, but overall it's a pretty good job. And as NuKon said the only thing I don't like are the shooters.

yeah i just got back from throwing w/ it. it is a pita and i didnt really mean to make a saddle i just wrapped the extra crosslace around the leather and i worked out. im working on those shooters right now. they r harder than the shooters im used to putting in mesh

worked on those shooters a bit (pics are in the same file). it throws great. still geting used to the feel of it but i like it so far

the pocket is not really symetrical(sp) but overall it looks goods. and the top viw picture with the ball in it the outer leathers dont look the3 same on both sides. nice pocket for your first try and as you practice and get better these problems wont occur anymore.
