My sticks illegal?

ok well before the game i couldnt see the top of the ball from the sidewall as in it was legal (atleast i think) but i went into the game and i asked the ref to just check my stick before the game he checked it and said you have to be able to see the ball between the sidewall holes :crying: is that true? or is it just the bottom of the sidewall rail not hole? oh and also my stick was too short the ref said put some wooden thinger on the end to make it legal but i didnt quite understand could any of you help me with that and the stick depth question please thanks

Its just the ball has to be above the bottom rail

yea its the bottom of the bottom rails as long as there is no space then its legal

Not the sidewall holes. It's the bottom rail. Also, I believe the ref mean't a wooden plug. You use them in hockey sticks (Canada eh!) but it would be hard to find them for lacrosse stick (Shape, form, size). I suggest make a tape ball the size of the diameter of the stick and tape around it.

Basically you take a piece of styrafoam... Stick it in the bottom of the shaft. Tape all around it then make the a tape butt at the BOTTOM OF YOUR SHAFT(Not the Styrafoam.) so now... You can play with a shortened shaft, be legal, and if you get checked to the styrafoam part... It absorbs the check.

Hey, for the length of the shaft..what might work is actually putting a wine cork in there..and dont put it in soo far and just tape it up good..i know that sounds kinda odd..but it workss

i use a plastic bottle cap, like found on plastic coke bottles. just tape that on the bottom, its lighter than rubber, legal, and doesnt piss you off. do those rubber things piss anyone else off?!?
