I just beat the crap out of my new mesh, what now?

Ive had a back up stick that i strung and never used. I used a Brine mesh product. (10 diamond, i dont think its soft or hard.) anyway, i could never get a pocket out of it. I put a ball and knife in it once, but that pocket went away. So, like 5 min ago I put it in a sink of really hot water for like 10 seconds. Then I took it out and pounded the sh*t out of it. Right now its pretty illegal but before it got smaller as it dryed so i want it to be illegal now. What should i do now? try the ball and knife trick again? Or let it dry illegal.

you should let it dry illegal then tighten up your sidewalls and bottom and it will be barely legal. Is it like plasticy??? cuz it sounds like fresh mesh.

try using more diamonds on the sidewall this helps. is it possible to post pics. does your mesh feel plasticy because it may be fresh mesh

yea its probly fresh mesh. but some pics, if at all possible, would help.

sounds like fresh mesh and i hate to tell you this but you probably need to go get another piece of mesh. anything but fresh mesh or soft mesh. anything else would be fine especially hard mesh

make sur you keep the fresh mesh tho you never no when you might need it that stuff is expensive. keep it on your rainstick if you have one

its fresh mesh, my friend has it on his stick and he just beat the **** out of it and it came out to not a bad pocket

i have viewed, i just havnt replyed. I let it dry illegal and it is pretty good now. But i think the pocket is slowly going away. Ill post some pics if i can find my camera
