Bigger Pocket with 6 Diamond

Is there anything i can do to stretch my mesh even more then it already is? Its pretty broken in and i have it factory strung. Its the middle of the season and i have no experience stringing heads, so i dont think i would be able to string it right in time for a practice. Is there anything i can do to make the pocket bigger other then restringing it?

I've pounded it many times. It always returns to its original state. Is there any way for it to stay deep?

Should i wet it first? Last time i did that i wet it and left it over night and a few days. Am i not supposed to wet it?

try loosening the sidewalls a bit that might help. if you dont want to do that alter the bottom string.

it doesn't matter if you wet it. it actually helps to break it in.

like i said earlier use moree diamonds for the sidewall and make sure to keep them really tight

I pounded that sucker for about 5 mins before taking the pics, and about 10 minutes later it was flat again. REALLY annoying me that I can't keep the pocket big for more than an hour.

Yeah same thing happens, What do you mean by adding another diamond?

i mean ty using as much of the mesh as possible. you see that flap of mesh on the bottom of your stick, undo the sidewall and try to use as much as you can

i would do the knife and ball trick, put a ball in hte pocket 1 inch infront of where you want it and then put a knife though the sidewall and over the ball and through the other sidewall and if you do it for the same thing but behind you get a very long pocket

Also, if you are looking for more hold I put put a U in. A very very tight U. It will add a little bit of whip(at least when I do it does) but you will come out with more hold.

Also move the bottom string down 1 diamond. That should help a little for both of you.

I did 2 diamonds, and its pretty nice right now. Any tips on putting on some shooting string with 6 diamond? Its kind of a pain.

loosen the bottom string on the head, that helps make the pocket a bit bigger. and what works the best is pounding, and ball and butterknife trick.

for shooters, use the top of one row of diamonds and the bottom of another. and just regular weave them. this keeps them from sliding up and down which may occur due to the large diamond size.
