Laxiceman's 3rd consecutive custom!

Anyways, sorry to add yet another of my threads, but I just strung my third custom in 3 days and it is so different from the others I didn;t want to include it in their threads. Anyways, this time I incororated a little mesh into it and it turned out wierd. It throws sooo nicely, with no whip just how I like it, and is very smooth and has the hold of a pita pocket. However, it looks funky and I'm not as crazy about it as my other pockets but oh well, what do y'all think?

I'm gonna try to clean it up right now and fix up the top.

Looks clean man, kind of ugly, but it throws good, so who cares.

looks ok. the pocket looks very busy. and by that i mean there are tons of variations from different pockets. you got the saddle from the rp the mesh from the mesh x and the mesh on the outise from the reverse corner pocket and so much more i dont feel like listing. it is a great idea but you should just clean it up a bit

He told me it threw good, minimal whip, decent hold like a Pita, and a pretty good release.

sounds like my kinda head! i strung myself a pita, is it supposed to roll off the lip of the head? if not how do i fix it? i weaved 3 shooter straight across. problem?

You can let it roll off the lip of the head if you want, but most people don't like it. Not so sure how to get rid of it on a trad, but try tightening all your shooters a bit, or on mesh people put a nylon up towards the top to get ride of it, maybe try it with trad, I don't think I've seen nylon shooters on anything but mesh before though.

meh. my favorite is still the king pocket or w/e its called. sorta ugly. but if you like it than use it. looks dont matter.

yea i tried a nylon it looks funky but just wont stay straight or tight. i really dont like it, the throwing feels inconstistent. but its alright, way diff from my 7D. btw how do i get my shooters to stay tight on my 7D, that and my nylon keep coming loose

Ok, it performed really well, but anyways, thats my backup stick, and it keeps raining over here so I need to have something like mesh in it that I can rely on. (This was probably my least favorite out of the pharah, Knight, and Zebra that I strung) However, I still have a few days before practice so I will string up another custom (yes without mesh like this one) and post that and maybe a tutorial tommarow. I'm thinking, maybe big word from sidewall to outer leathers, then a criss-cross outer nylon design, the maybe the channel from my Pharaoh pocket. Anyways I'm not sure yet, but you will all see what I end up stringing tommarow.

it looks good i wouldnt have used the outside mesh part but besides that good. how do u have this much time on ur hands i mean rlly it seems like all uve done for the last 3 days is string and right tutorials.

It is a Gait icon, that has been pinched numerous times, and is now almost illegal, but doesn;t withdraw ball thankfully. Just wait till it warps though.

I took a hand drill and enlarged them slightly, probably not good for the durability but oh well, then I cut the leathers thinner at the bottom just to get them started, then it all worked out good.

thats odd out of all the heads i look at in stores i cant belive i never really took a good look at the icon
