Has anyone on here ever used a Riddell helmet. My team is considering getting them and I wanted to see what other people thought about them in terms of comfort, fit, sightlines, weight, etc. before we make the purchase.

where we play it can get quite warm in the summer. Are the helmets very hot? Thanks for the note on the sightlines - to me thatn's the most important consideration for a helmet...

cpx's are alot better and more comfortable and you can see out of them perfectly and they are very light

Let me guess, you have never played with, let alone, tried on a Riddell helmet.

my team has them. At first, i hated them but now i've gotta say, i really like them. They are soooo protective, and they're not THAT heavy. As for temperature, i think the only reason they might be a little warmer is what the material of the padding on the inside is made of. Its a weird material. Its like plasticy, but smooth. Don't get me wrong though, i would definatly sacrifice the temperature for the overall greatness of the helmet. The sight is great. the facemask-cage part is very far from your face and this makes it so easy to see.
Honestly, i really them. Also, search a little because i saw a review on them a while ago on here.

I believe Team USA is/was playing with them, which definitely says something about the quality of them.
