i wanted to know wether most people put there heads in the freezer after they pinch them or if they just leave them sit and why you use that method

Freezing the head weakens it.

I let the head cool at room temperature after I boil it. Freezing it makes it prone to shattering if you use it directly after it comes out of the freezer.

Yeah I leave it in the fridge for a half hour, then take it out and leave it at room temp for a few hours. Freezing gives the head too rapid of a temp. change, therefore weakening it.

The head AND the strings will easily break if you aren't careful with that method.

If you freeze it, you should unstring it! I froze a head I pinched with the mesh still on it and when I took it out, part of the mesh fell right off when I touched it.

i froze mine, buts its only my head that i use to mess around and get ideas and try sh-t out on...if i were to pinch my baby id leave it at room temperature so it doesnt get weak...lol..

but yeah on a serious head i would go with room temp

i dont liek the boiling method (too un controlibal)
i prefer holding it ofer tyhe heating elment on the stove top
that way you can test if it is hot enuff or if its too hot and pullit away imedatly(SP?)
then i leave it out side till the plastic feels like its at its reg temp

I actually used to boil mine, but on my latest pinch I used an Oven(after being told they are superior by a good man by the name of Ryan.)
So I've been doing that lately... Real quick, then I put it UNDER the fridge... So the air blows out and cools it at a quicker rate, but you don't make it cooler or anything... But no freeze.

there shoudl be an other option i jsut hold mine over the stove and it worms up and i put stings threw the holes so it stays and let it sit a bit and it always works perfictly
