[Tech] Converting CDs to MP3 format in iTunes

Well, I want to convert a bunch of my CDs to MP3 format in use with iTunes, but I don't know how to do it. The files come into iTunes as AAC audio files, any ideas?

Right click on the song and hit Convert to MP3.

It just says convert selection to AAC, but when I click on song info, it says it is an AAc file already.

Try to open them with Windows Media Player.

in itunes go to edit-preferences-advanced-importing-then where it says "import using" choose mp3 encoder. Now when u right click a song there should be an option to convert selection to mp3.
