Hello im from alberta canada and we spend all year playing box lacrosse with a weekend field tournement once every summer. At my school we have a lacrosse program during school but there arnt enough other schools to actually have games. I was wondering how a kid coming out of canada can get recognized by the big name schools in the united states?

Tape your games and send them into schools

Get on team Canada or another provincal team for field worked for Saskatchewan's own David Mitchell - starting attack for Cornell. Not bad for a Saskatchewan boy.

thats why not many canadians play for u.s. colleges, not many ways to show what you got

go to american summer camps, or find a team and travel. Make an area team and head to champ camp of other recruiting tourneys.

You have to think about it though. It may be a hell of a long way but if you really believe you are good enough and that is your dream you should go all out to achieve it even if that does mean travelling to show off what you've got.
