Which would you rather (or do) live at?
OKAY then! Definately East coast! as they said below, 4 seasons rocks ( even though theres no lax in the fall ). Plus, snow is good for you, if we ever have it again here in hot hot hot Baltimore,,, :nut:

east coast owns all... i enjoy having all 4 seasons... i have a cousin on the west coast who has never seen snow, that seems sad. And besides if you really need a beach on the east coast, then you can still find somewhere in florida not infested with old people

The only thing i dislike about that is the fact that the hot days in the summer are accompanied by humidity out the yang. I can't stand it. Other than that, the east coast rules.

do you east coast boys know anything. do you actually think that its sunny and 80 all over the west coast all the time. we actually have weather and snow, ya it even gets down to below 70 on the coast, gee who woulda known. ok lets move on
the west has way better surf and beaches, way better skiing and boarding, way hotter women, and we don't have much humidity
the east has... better lacrosse and thats about it

Why do you WANT four seasons? and FREEZING weather? You can have a mild winter AND snowboard in California....but you don't have blizzards and sub zero weather...
so please...someone tell me why they want all those seasons...and I'm being serious/sincere

East Coast.
You have all the history, so much variety in landscape:
-Florida which has all the tropical beaches and who can forget the Keys/.
-The Carolinas have awesome resorts
-New York City? Need I say more?
-Maine is an awesome vacation spot
-Vermont (not really on the coast, but is such an awesome state I had to throw it in)
On the West Coast, once you get out of SoCal, you have nothing. Oregon? Washington? Gross.
California has all the illegal immigrants, earth quakes, really hot weather, the phonies of hollywood. . .

Which is silly since an hour from where I live had 2 snowdays this year and I live in San Diego...

the last time i felt and earthquake was almost 2 years ago and the only reported damage from it was a crack in 1 persons bathroom ceiling, i've only heard of a few occasions of bad mud slides usually in the OC, and i have experienced one wild fire my entire life. now how many hurricanes hit the east coast each year?

Well, that depends on what i want to live there for. If i am in the mood to watch lacrosse games the rest of my life, i would definently choose the east coast, but if i wanted to hunt and fish, i would go west. As of now, i would probably choose west coast, but that changes with the seasons.

I felt one over the summmer...
and one summer after freshman year...
the one last summer...I thought there was someone on the roof and the other one my friend thought her mom opened the windows and the wind blew and that's why her house was shaking...
devastating earthquakes are WAY less common that really bad hurricanes and tornados and stufffffffffff
My friends house got SCREWED by a mudslide last winter...100k ish in damages not covered by insurance.. but thats like 1 person on the whole coast

The east coast has nothing on california. So far the only thing people are saying about the east coast is "4 seasons". have you guys been to california? we have 4 seasons here. It might not snow where I live, but I can get in my car and drive a couple hours and be at one of the dopest snowboarding spots in the country (lake tahoe). If i wanted to, I could surf, snowboard, wakeboard and skateboard all in the same day. can anyone on the east coast say that? California is the best state in the country, hands down. give us 10 years, and our lacrosse will be caught up with the east coast.

actually yes. there is a lake where which is really calm waters, and virtually no people within sight in some spots about 2 minutes from my house, the beach is like an hour away, and the mountains are about an hour away. all which could be done in the fall or spring time. although the snowboarding would suck it could be done. and skating can be done anywhere. and please tell me how much a 4,000 sq. ft house with 6 acres would cost in cali? How many million?

Yeah even though I'm from Jersey I still would want to live on the west coast. First off I don't like when it gets to cold. Second even though there is snow the snow sucks really bad. The best is vermont which cant compare to out west. Third the beaches and surf are obviously better than any place in the east. and finally how can you not like those smokin hot californian babes in bikinis?!?!?!?! :worship:
^ it all depends, the Bay Area and san diego areas are really expensive, but other than that Cali isnt that expensive. theres also more high tech, high paying jobs out here so that offsets the expensive housing prices

Sauna? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA that makes me laugh at your ignoramusness about the weather. We were having 10 degree days in Jan and Dec in portland. 100 degree days in August and everything inbetween in spring and fall. Historical landmarks sound cool until you get there and its just a rock with a metal plaque on it talking about somthing that happened 100+ years ago. Plus, thats what the history channel is for. West coast has Big cities (LA, San Diago, San Fran, Sacremento, Seattle, Portland, Vancouver BC, ect...) And open wilderness ranging from coastal paradise to parched desert to teperate rainforest to rugged mountins to beutiful marshland.
Before you write me off as another biased native, consider that I was BORN on the east coast, lived there for my childhood, and visit it every summer since my backward minded relitives who havent figured where its at. West side! West has everything east has and more(exept lacrosse which is growing the most rapidly here BTW)
The choice is easy.
