Hey guys,
I was wondering if any of you guys have homeade remedies to get really white teeth. Right now i kinda have them, not at all yellow, but not really white teeth. They are kinda just there, so i was thinking maybe some of you guys out there know a way to get them whiter without buying some expensive brand name product.

Don't brush too hard or too often... you won't screw up your enamel that way.

Don't worry about not having perfect white teeth. Its not natural anyways, different shades anyways.

Proceed to harware store. Purchase hammer. Smash mouth repeatedly until visible teeth fall out of skull. Get dentures.

you can brush with baking soda. it works pretty good and companies even started putting it in toothpaste for whitening

They work, and they are a little pricey. Also, if you have sensitive teeth, they may hurt. A lot.

You could go get them bleached at the dentist, but of course that would be very expensive. I'm pretty sure if you just brush your teeth two times a day and don't eat too much sugar, you'll have no cavities and your teeth will be white.

Yes, but your teeth are not naturally white, so they will never turn white from just brushing and not eating alot of sugar. The only ways to whiten your teeth that I know of are at the dentist with bleach, or crest white strips or other over the counter products. My dentist tells me to whiten my teeth every time I go there, it kind of gets annoying because it is just a way for them to make money.

Even though really white teeth aren't naturally, I would like them. I brush twice a day, and floss a few times a week. Everytime I go to the dentist they are like "Wow! Your teeth are beautiful!" But they are a little yellow. My friend thinks I smoke, so I guess the yellow is kind of noticeable, but I keep my teeth really clean. So sometimes it's just their natural color. I might get mine bleached in a little while.

if you do decide to get the crest white strips, just don't go overboard. I hate it when I see someone and they have startlingly white teeth...just looks so fake. I would say just buy some whitening toothpaste, but check the ingredients. A lot of toothpastes that say "whitening!" or whatever have the same ingredients same as regular toothpaste. I use Arm and Hammer whitening myself....doesnt have overwhelming flavor and the baking soda makes little bubbles that feel nice...

And which isn't covered by insurance (because it is cosmetic), which only makes is cost more on your part.

I'd take looking at sparkling white teeth over Post-It note yellow teeth any day

Remember it's not always how often you brush or what you eat, a lot of what your teeth look like & how bad (or if you get them at all) cavities are has to do with your family genetics....One of my lax buddies eats nothing but junk food...you'll never find him without some sort of chocolate or candy & his teeth are absolutely fine..as enjoi said don't worry about it...As long as they aren't like brown & falling out of your mouth noone's really gunna care

well fine, but I can't even remember the last time I saw someone with "post-it note yellow teeth" while I frequently see some high maintanance girl with teeth you could replace a lighthouse with
