With about a month left 'til the championship games, I'm crossing my fingers that someone will finally upset Salisbury. That someone will come from the ODAC. I am hoping that either Roanoke or Lynchburg will come hungry enough for the W. I personally think it'll be Lynchburg because they lost by 2 AT SALISBURY. Imagine if that game had been at home? Seeing that there may be a slight home advantage considering it's in Philly. I don't think it'll be Roanoke because they lost by 4 at home. Your thoughts--
P.S. It won't be Gettysburg, they fell apart and let Salisbury score 10 goals in the 2nd half of the game and only answered back with 4.

Nah, the gouch won't do it (already lost to them by 9 @ home). It'll be someone from good old Virginia. Hey, H-S and W&L only lost to Lynch by 2. H-S lost to Roanoke by 1. The ODAC is much more tight-knit and competitive. Look for the winner of the ODAC tournament to be the most likely to give Salisbury a run for their money.

Although I would love the alma mater to defeat Salisbury, I cannot recall the last time that Hampden-Sydney beat Salisbury. It must have been back in the early 90's perhaps.

I know I'm stretching reality a bit, but I desperately want someone to really be able to stick it to Salisbury. And, I'd be more than happy to see some in VA do it. It seems that they must lose because we don't want another Hobart. But then again, maybe Salisbury will eventually get a DI program if they are that dominant.

Great school, great lax team (at least when I was there).
What year did you graduate laxdemon?
For the record, Salisbury beat us everytime we played them when I was there.

Gettysburg did have a bad game that day. There offense just couldn't get it going. BUt don't assume b/c of that one game. I was there and they really didn't show up that day. Doesn't mean they can't take care of salisbury.

Ummm Jack Bauer could beat salisbury with chuck norris in a one armed headlock. Salisbury is good, but Lynchburg showed it's possible to hang with them. It comes down to the fourth quarter. Salisbury is a fourth quarter team. (3rd too). Until a team comes ready to play the whole time, forget it.
