mods if this is inappropriate close it... but i was just wondering if anyone has ever been hit in the balls like REALLY hard? someone decides to take a really bad fast whippy pass at me today and it hit me DEAD ON in the nuts. if anyone knows when the pain stops, please let me know? or have any tips for making it feel better?

We were warming up for a championship game for a tournament last year. We were running some 2 on 3 drills and i went out on this guy that had the ball and he desides to shoot it and hits me right in the nuts. Thankfully i was wearing a cup, but it still hurt really bad. I was down for a good 15 minutes. I was supposed to start in that game, but that was a no go. I think he did it on purpose b/c he was in love with the girl I was taking to prom. I layed him out at practice the next week though, so it was all good.

Couple weeks ago, a teammate of mine and I were passing around before practice waiting for others to show using our backups to get some use out of them. On pass from went to the ground pretty fast and before I could adjust for the bounce it got me. I was sitting down for about 10 minutes...and then it did the whole queasy-stomach-feeling-thing on me, I hate that...but on to more!

Sophmore year of college we were ending practice with a clear drill and whne it ended, us attack were long passing all the balls back tot he other end of the field where the ballbag was, giving a courtesy heads up for each volley. One of my passes went towards the guy with the bag (garnering several extra heads-ups!) and bounced right in front of him and targeting right in the mean bean machine. It was like watching the Simpsons Filme Festival where Hans Moleman gets hit with a football. The entire team (coaches included) were in histerics.

Lastly, a classic case of MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction). Prior to wrestling practice in High School my buddy Garai (who would also be a future laxer when we got our team) and I were having a friendly argument that soon devolved to threats of lower groinal punishment. Of course somehow the button was pushed and I wound up kicking Garai ( I don't remember the exact details of why) but almost immediately as I kicked him, he kicked me before the effects could take effect. Both of us were on the ground immediatly, clutching our "pride" and in teh fetal postion. My best friend Dave (and fellow wrestler..he never got into lax, probably because I made him my fogo dummy...) walks past on the way to practice and all we can hear him say is, "Idiots..."

One night at hockey practice a few of the guys took some of the A5-35 thats like the heat only stuff...put it in a guys cup, and then put his bag back he was getting ready and had no idea...when we got on the ice....i have never seen anyone skate that fast in my life

It was just a joke...relax. Happened to a freshman at practice and told him to rub icey hot on it and he gave me a confused look and everyone else was like oh god your sick. It's a terrible feeling, don't do it, but it is funny.

i was reading maxim one time and a soldier i iraq wrote a letter to the magazine talking about how a mine or something went off near him and a piece of shrapnel got lodged into his nut, but the thing that really scared him was he already lost his other one to cancer so he was afraid of being nutless for the rest of his life, luckily it wasnt too bad and he didnt have it removed

A screen pass in just a pickup game, went low, completey went through my hands and hit. Yeah, me and my friends did a cup test and filmed it. I was the tester- the one wearing the cup as they hit me with a wooden and metal stick, baseball bat, golf club, sledgehammer, and dropped a baji ball on it. Needless to say, Prince Harold and the Smokeys didn't feel that good after that.

In a game, our best guy was running around the goal, and on the opposite side he had been checked in the balls, of course not wearing a cup, it hurt like crazy, but he carried on to the other side, only to be unable to go any further w/ the pain and he did a whip around dive shot. It missed and he crashed into me. After that he was lying on the ground w/ his hands down his pants for a few minutes, moaning about his balls.

Later when we went over the game w/ a dvd he could see it all in replay. Kinda funny, but certainly unpleasant.

This story is true even though it sounds a little far fetched. Around the 2002 HS lacrosse season the team for the HS i would eventually attend was playing a team from somewhere around the columbous(sp?) area. as a middie was taking the ball up the field 2 attack were chasing after him. At the midline one attack tries to ice pick him and hits him right in the nut while the other attack does a one handed windup and hit him in same nut causing a sort of mudalation of the general area. Since this is a thread about getting hit in the you know whats he was not wearing a cup and he went down in agony. The trainers had to call an ambulence to get him. As for that nut that was it... it is no more, but you can visit a hospital around the columbous(sp?) area where his sperm is being frozen until he finds that special someone he wants to give it to if you dont belive me.

so one year i decide to play goalie. the coach is warming me up one day. he says "ok, im going to shoot it as hard as i can." he cranks, misses and hits the a*hole kid that no one likes on our team. the kid went down hard. i mean, like sack of potatoes hard. i turned around and he was just on the ground crying... we laughed.

next story. lax tryouts 2 years ago. we were in the gym cause of t-storms, and a middie makes a kind of bullet pass, which hits the wall of the gym, ricochets a bit, and nails a kid in the twig and berries. again, down on the ground within a second. he spit up blood and couldn't walk the next day.

moral of the stories: wear a cup if you want kids.

My friend was running around a local pool and he slipped and fell on the edge of the pool and he actually did a split on the corner of the pool and 1 of his balls got smash and fell out. Blood everywhere and he passes out and well hes stuck with 1 nut for the rest of his life.

My dads friend was bungy jumping off a bridge and his harness wasnt as tight as possible between his legs and when he jumped the harness put stress on his 1 ball and well...fell into his boot. He got it put back in though and hes better now.

obvious lessons here- get stuff on tape, dont run around pools and make sure your harness is tighy while bungy jumping.

My mate got hit in the nuts playing cricket. It split the sack open and one of his balls fell out. His pants went red and he had to get rushed to the hospital. It wasnt funny at the time, but looking back on it... it is.
I get hit yesterday playing Lax. I was wearing a cup but I got hit on the side so it moved, and the elastic sprang back... I was rolling on the ground.. It hurt so much.
