haha, i just read that quote. that was pretty funny. I, also, have longer hair during lacrosse season. hmm. "we shall dance in the night" lol.

I think everyone has long hair during the season, but I'm not as self conscious as the boys in the article are. If they are so "laid back", why do they have to wax and pluck their eyebrows and get perms? Maybe I have a different definition? I just ask my mom to cut my hair every once in a while, and whenever she asks me how I want it, I just say whatever. I don't want everyone to see us as girls because of a bunch of preps.

Yeah, I don't either. I kind of thought that term meant us. Like, since we're psycho about lacrosse. I was totally wrong, apparently.

But I don't like to refer women and girls alike as any form of vulgarity or any portmanteau.

Folks, in the late '70's my hair looked like that. We called it 'only getting a haircut when you went home for a long weekend and only combing it for vespers'

I suspect that that hair-look is older than anyone with enough hair to try to pull it off.

I guess I have a lax mullet, its just sorta long hair that sticks out of the back of your helmet. Not really the white trash mullet I thought of when i read the title.

its soooo true. here in baltimore, most of the kids on my team look like that. im more cleaned up around the edges and shorter over all.
