I'm not sure how you can justify this. You do not need to be making a play on the ball to body check someone if within 5 yards of a loose ball.

Of course, if A2 is in a vulnerable position, or if there's something else that makes the bodycheck illegal, that's different. But nothing of the sort is mentioned.
