Flipflops are a year round requirement, and I live in the Northeast :chuckle:

I used to be a t-shirt & jeans guy (the majority of my T's being culled from many many concerts and band encounters etc) but the workforce has changed it to polo and khakis 5 days a week. And of course my folks complain that I "dress down" to my t-shirt & jeans way and come up with many excuses to have me "look nice" usually tricking me with a free meal. Mostly in the cases that I normally wouldn't be expected to be country club casual, say for instance a recent relative b-day where I knew to look my best as oppsed to just joining them for dinner on a sat night, although during lax season, they just prefer I have some sort of change of cloths as opposed to wearing the same penny and under armour all day.

Hmm. that depends where i am, what im doing, and so on. At school and such, you can usually find me chilling with an AE polo, or an AE graphic shirt, sometimes even a button down. Also chilling with some brown or "wheat" shorts, and some partially faded jeans. For just chilling around the house/sick/anything like that i got some big fleese sweatpants that are warm and fuzzy, which i like, that i wear around. Usually with a regular hanes white t-shirt or some random shirt i got for playing in a basketball tourney. Somtimes ill go athletic, i got a few pairs of good shorts and such, with some nike shirts. And im rockin' The old school Nike Shox, grey and red, to compliment it all.

I have to agree with the sandal wearing. Birks, sandals, adidas flip flops, whatever works. As long as those feet are airing out, you can't go wrong with open toes. I would recommend it for all athletes. Who wants athletes foot or yellow nails? This is by far the best fashion advice because its practical and its down right healthy!

A&F, POLO, are nice. However, just be you. Get what you can afford. If your a great laxer then I am sure most of your money is spent on lax equipment anyway.

As for me, I am not into name brands. As a female, I have a huge mixed bag. I dress how I feel and according to the weather. I do hope all the posts helped the guys and even some girls who are clueless about what and what not to wear.

This is a good thread, I enjoy everybody else's thoughts and ideas...I go for izod polo or t-shirt, jeans, either kenneth cole or johnston murphy shoes;

"casual, preppy, western"...sort of...when co-workers complain, I just point to their feet, ask what K-Mart they shop for footwear at, and explain that what I have on my feet cost more than everything they are wearing...

anything by Calvin Klein, it is worth noting, is the best made, the best fit, and will last forever....the price is always worth it in CK's case.
