Sorry for the bad job at linking, but check out this myspace

Last video at the bottom. Click it to see a video of the man we call 'Kryptic'. No wonder he got recruited to play Navy Lacrosse. Jeez.
Okay so I realized Kryptic does have his highlight reel on his myspace:

and sorry if he ever posted it before, I wasn't aware.

That's not where the kid got it from. Look at "willmcd"'s top 8. Kryptic is on there. And if you click on Kryptic's myspace, his highlight reel is on his myspace. So, the kid took it off Kryptic's myspace.

this video shows he is alot better than everyone he is playing with by far
but the kids hes going against are not very good at all, it seems like to me
clearly this shows him pulling some nice move but realisticly a good team doesnt let you take a jump shot from about 5 yards and let you watch it go in
like the second goal he started his dodge from about 8 yards in from the restraining line and no slide came going against a shortstick
even a decently organized team would go early if a D1 recruit was going against a shortstick, but a slide never even came
I did really like the last shot though, and the dive at the begginging

kryptic is way to good for the people he was playing against. haha. the thing that amazed me was how quick he was. one second he would barley be jogging, and in 2 steps he would be at full speed. thats really dangerous and he obviously caught those novice d men off guard about 20 times.

Well they call it "The Distance" here http://www.cakemusic.com/music.html but I searched for both of them on google and found a ton of results for each so I think it doesn't really matter which you call it.
Edit: I can't believe in all the posts I made in this thread I still didn't even talk about the video, lol.
Anyways, Kryptic, you are a great player. I love your speed, you don't just outrun kids, but you are quick and burn them completely. I also love how you have good shot speed (couldn't really see, but I'm guessing you have to have a pretty sweet shot to get it by the goalie all those times) and the way you place your shots. That last shot where you just turned, jumped and shot and hit top shelf was AMAZING, major props my friend. And to people saying that the teams just weren't good, Kryptic is a first team all-state player, I'm sure he had to go against some amazing defenses to be all-state.
Kryptic good luck at Navy, I wish you the very best of luck, you worked hard and earned the privalige to go there, I hope you do VERY well.

That's kind of why I'm getting recruited by Navy, the coach thinks I can fill John Birsner's shoes.

No offense taken, I know their defense wasn't the greatest. It was rather funny that whole game, cause I kept getting the mismatch. We have two other players on our team with more points than I do (#1 and #3 scorers in the "DI" in AZ; I'm #6), so I bet they game planed for those two.
Watching him play, I noticed all the bad things about the other team. Like at some point, they just quit moving their feet when defending against him. It's useless ;p.
I know, I laugh at it too
yea he's rediculous but its also cool he made D1 from chandler Arizona

I don't have a scholarship to the Naval Academy, the Navy pays for tuition, room and board, medical/dental insurances, etc. My goal for my plebe year is to make this varsity team, since they have a JV team. Yes, I'm 17.
Ummm It's navy you go for free i Even think they pay you(may be wrong).
They play about $800 a month. Most goes to books/food/uniforms/etc. After all that, I get about $100 to spend ($200 for soph, $300 for juniors, $400 for seniors).

But, after watching it, I will definitely admit that you are an incredibly sick player and athlete. The split dodges were cruel, and that rocket to the corner is in a class by itself. :WTF:
Not bashing you or any Zona kids, but have you played against East Coast talent before? Like camps, regular season, etc.. If so, how did you do?

"Meh! He's just a college level player playing against highschoolers. Just look how bad the defense is! Do they even know what a slide is?"
I mean, I disagree. Sure, the defense isn't on par with the better teams over here on the East Coast, but he's got definite talent. I just like the video a lot because the music really works with the video.

Actually, I have read about NFL players who have opted out of active duty and gotten extra time added on to their reserve time so they could play in the NFL. I don't know if these are special cases, how this happens, or if you can only do this through ROTC and not the Service Academies. I do know it is possible though. I forgot, what were the reasons you didn't go? I remember you said you visited them.
I want to go to med school - my family life has kind of traumatized me from the business world, so I would rather die than be a white collar worker. It has become a source of motivation for me in academics and will follow me through college -- just reflecting on how many times my dad has changed jobs, been relocated, even being relocated after promotions, layoffs, corporate downsizing, stupid co-workers. So how does this apply to Navy? Navy only sends 2 students from the graduating class to medical school, and it increases your commitment time. That is way too much of a risk and way too competitive, and so much time spent in the Navy. I have also been looking forward to a 'typical' college experience my entire life -- parties, joining a frat, etc. . . and it isn't present at Navy. Yes joining the Marinies was a dream of mine too, and not having to pay a dime to go to college was a dream too, but having fun at college (don't take offense, but USNA has no free time until senior year, and only week long summers in the beginning) was a dream of mine too -- so I had to choose between my dreams, and I chose to opt out of USNA.
Kyle, there's a girl from my graduating class going to Navy, I can't remember her name, I think it's Troy, and she's a blonde, if you meet her you gotta mention me -- she'll probably be one of the better looking girls at USNA.
Yes I visited USNA and the whole shpeel- and everyone was extremely nice, but I didn't like the environment. . . it's hard to explain, but I was just turned off.
And yes, I am 17. I admit I do look pretty boyish in those pics -- I kind of got more chizeled after those pics, and I'm sporting a small goatee at the moment.
So good luck Kyle.
And don't forget about stringing my stick!
O, and can you post your running regiment? I run everyday, do like a 2 mile jog, and then run up and down this big hill about 10 times, but your speed is impressive and I want to know how you got it.

UNCdefense

you only have to be in the navy 3 years after u graduate
Ya Kryptic touched on most of the stuff yall messed up but that is definitely NOT true. It's at least a 4 year commitment & also as Kryptic said you do get paid to go there but after your expenses every month you odn't get much back but as you progress & become upper classmen more & more of it goes back in to your pocket (one of my uncles that went there paid for his first car in cash (from what he got while attending)
ANYWAYS!back to kryptic the thign i love most about that is that he made the entire highlight from one game so it's obvious he's a talented player & something great he does is when he dodges he goes all the way through. A lot of guys will do a great dodge but then slow down unintentionally. When he dodges he runs straight through & puts it in the back of the net!
BTW that's my myspace...don't know who it was that asked but I obviously am not Kryptic. Kryptic (Kyle Kapron...but he'll always be Kryptic to most of us) lives in AZ & i just gnabbed the video to show it too friends..I'm from GA but live in NC now; while the rest of my fam. lives & has forever lived in MD. Anyways, Kryptic's sick I can't wait to watch him on tv next year & hopefully get schooled by him at the academy in 3 yrs
