I still think it's more deserving than Arena Football.

EA Sports really pisses me off. I went to their contact site to suggest a lax game and it has different contact categories for different subjects. The only link that didn't work was the suggestion category. They have a Rugby game for crying out loud. And arena football...who watches arena footbal?? No one does cause those are all the less exciting players that aren't good enough for the NFL, so why would they make a game out of it. Even my hardcore baseball friends want one cause they all think lacrosse is a really cool sport. They should make one and compare sales to the Arena Football and Rugby games...I bet NCAA Lacrosse 2007 would beat both of next years AFL and Rugby titles combined.

Rugby should probably be excluded from your rantings since EA probably made it for the large consumer markets in other parts of the world, outside the US, say over here in the UK where it is really big.
EA know a lot more about what the current trends are for games, and I highly doubt they would spend all the cashish developing say Arena Football without expecting to get a return on it, so there must be a market somewhere.
In light of all that it does seem very strange that such a massive, exciting, and real spectator sport, does not feature in EA's range. They WILL wake up one day and realise everyones begging for a game.
Anyone know where EA is based? It could be its in a state with very little lax exposure...

Quoted from another thread - too much money for such a little crowd. But it would be like rugby, who honestly has bought EA Rugby?
Maybe not in Nth America, but they dont make those games for you. They are extremely popular elsewhere around the world, like the Madden or NBA Live are where you are.
That's why there are so many rugby games, not just by EA but there are competing series too, and Rugby League NRL games as well as Rugby union.
I hate it when people say "why cant they make a lacrossse game, they made a rugby game for crying out loud", well when was the last time lacrosse drew a crowd like this for an ordinary match...

Crowds like this and bigger happen all the time in rugby.
That is why a (decent) lacrosse game does not yet exist whilst the first major rugby game came out over a dozen years ago.
Rugby is HUGE, just not where you are. But you aren't the only ones with X-Box and PS2, Rugby sales for just one rugby game (Rugby06 for example) would probably be at least 20 times more than any lacrosse game, then take into account Rugby2005, 2004, ..... NRL Rugby League, NRL Rugby League 2... World Championship Rugby 2006, and all the older games.
