How much does everybody get paid for mowing their lawn. Post the size of the property you mow and how much you get for it

My brother has to mow the lawn in the backyard... it's not very big, due to our pool and our lot only being about 1/4 acre, but he doesn't get paid. My parents tell him they're allowing him to live another day.

yeah i prolly wouldnt get paid either, but it takes me like the whole day basically.

Well I guess I'm better off than I thought. I have a good gas mower and the front lawn only takes me half an hr to mow, weedwhack, and blow off for $5, and the back yard takes me 20 minutes to do for $5.

but i mowed for a few negibors and made around 2000 dolars the last two summers

my lawn is about an acre. i get paid 10$. it only takes about an hour

im not sure how big my lawn is, but it takes me about an hour and a half to finish

Not only does it take me an hour and thirty minutes to mow my lawn, I have to walk a half mile to mow my grandpa's lawn. I dont get squat for doing it, either.

According to my parents, i get paid with dinner every night. But considering we have dinner about 3 nights a week as a family, im still not sure how that works, but i dont care. I dont really need any more money, all i will do with it is buy thousands of dollars of lacrosse stuff that i dont really need.

i have two ride on mowers and one push mower. It takes me alone 4 hours to do my yard, which is 4 acres. Sometimes, a friend will help me so i can get it done faster and do other stuff, and with a friend it takes 2 1/2 hours. The worst part is i get paid NOTHING to do it. My parents tell me that I live here, so i have to mow it...

Kids are getting spoiled from getting money from mowing their own lawns..... Your doing it for you own house why should some one pay you? So does it mean eveytime your mom washes the dishes you pay her 5 bucks? no just do it, it wont kill you to do it for free

Mine takes an hour and a half-ish to up to two hours depending on if I bag and if I have to take breaks due to the georgia heat. I dont get paid, and I dont complain.
Texas heat is worse than Georgia heat. It has already hit 100 this year.

i get paid from my grandma. it isnt much, but i dont get paid for doing my house. and that is alot.

It takes me about half an hour-45 mins to do mine, and I get paid with three good meals each day and a bed to sleep in. That's when I'm home.

And I mow our field at 10 dollars an hour. It's boring though.

it takes me the exact length of Frances the Mute by the Mars Volta to mow my lawn. And i only get paid sparadically, but my parents often buy those little necesities for me (athletic tape, clothing, etc) and so thats their excuse for not paying me everytime i mow it. and i get the whole "its for the family" thing

I get paid like $10 dollars a week for a little over an acre with a pushmower, but my parents get me pretty much whatever i ask them to so sometimes i dont care if they pay me.

I listen to my ipod and I occasionaly break out into a full sprint with the lawnmower and race it around. So it takes me about 45 mins-1 Hour

yeah im up with the whole mowing and listening to music. and I also do the random sprints when I just want to get done faster. I mow my lawn and dont get paid but i do mow my neighbors and i get paid 13 dollars plus some drink. one time i got a whole case of amp which had 24 in it. that was probably the most ive ever gotten paid for mowing.
