Calling a Game Early

I'm wondering if games can get called early because of dangerous playing. Example, today, my team was winning 11-4 with about 4 minutes left. Obviously there isn't to big of a chance of the other team coming back. So they start to play pretty dirty, rediculous slashes, hits from behind no where near the play, and going headhunting on groundballs just to name some things. Also this was a pointless scrimmage just to get us ready for our season to pick back up after spring break. So could/should this game of been called early? My apologies if there has been a thread on this already, I didn't see it if there was. Thanks.

It is not in the rules explicilty. However, officials will sometimes say, "That's it, we're done here," and no one can really stop them.
