My son takes private lessons with Matt Brown every Monday. He's probably the most down to earth guy you'd ever meet. If only all pro athletes could be like that. This is a pic of him and my son the Monday after his first NLL career hat trick against San Jose. My son is wearing the shirt he wore to the game. whoa, I had no idea you could have private lacrosse lessons. I've always gone through the team system. How much does it cost to get lessons from a pro?

I've had lessons with John Grant, Shawn Wilkins (former pro), and Shawn Evans. It was my brother, friend and I. The cost was like $15/player for 2 hrs.

i doubt it costs to much, unlike private hockey lessons where ppl are just in it to make money. These guys are in it to help develop skills and keep the game going

You're absolutley right Canadian Lax - it really is about developing skills. My son is also on a team - he plays middle school lacrosse here in Arizona. They dropped their practices down to 2 days a week and my son wanted more. We go for an hour on Mondays - and it really has helped his overall game. Alot of you probably know the lacrosse community here is not like it is back east or in Canada. Kids still ride by on their bikes and ask me what sport that is, but they always say that looks cool. In Arizona you have to do what you gotta do to have an edge.

I actually take some time whenever I meet any NLL goalie to talk about goaltending, usually after a game in that venue I go to. You can actually learn a lot from them.

I've done that. You'll hear more about his escapades in his post game parties, than anything on the floor...:laugh:

OMG that would be amazing .... my coach ...is one of the coaches for the WLA adanacs ..the team that eliuk plays for !
