I have bought the fury goalie lacrosse gloves and find that the wrist is to to tight so it doesnt fit great on the arms of my chest protector, is there anything that will help this or should i look for some eagle century gloves ?

If you have the Max Lax upper gear the Fury Gloves do not fit them you need to get the Brown gear or the Boddam gear. So you can cut the seem of the wrist and kill off your warrenty or buy yourself new gloves or new upper.

yeah lets see waste a warrenty or spend 900 dollars on a new c/a good call. plus when you cut the seems you get better mobility in the whole glove.

I have my fury gloves coming to me right away. Will the gloves bother me with my boddam uppers?

I use the MaxLax NLL Plus upper body and Fury gloves myself. Yes, I did find the wrist area to be tight when I first wore them. However, after about a couple of practices using them, they felt fine.

All you have to do is wedge the arm pad inside the glove as much as possible. When you are taking a break, take them off, then put them back on when you go back in the goal. It is the same idea as pounding a pocket in when you get a new stick.

The last time I checked, this year's Fury gloves have a cut out on the inside of the cuff near the palm on the pinky side for extra mobility.

I have an Nll Pro and sentry's and don't have any problems. Perhaps it just doesn't bother me. Since they cost about the same, if you still can I would get the sentry's instead but it seems like a lot are using fury. (maybe because they are easier to get ahold of).

I want to try a pair of Fury gloves real bad. I'd like to acquire a free pair. But I know they cant even touch my Eagles. My Eagles are dope. They even have extra ventilation that I dont see on other ones. Eagles seem so rare to get tho.

Eagles themselves aren't rare. It's just certain stores carry them. If your talking about sentrys then yea those are hard to find because they DONT make them anymore. So good luck finding them.

yeah thats what I meant. I assumed we'll all be talkin about the same Eagles for lacrosse goalie.

Well to be honest I've seen so many box goalies use different kinds of eagles. Although yeah you're right the sentrys are the most common and have the best protection.

Also, I have noticed that some NLL goalies actually use the Eagle Sentry glove, but with the Reebok stripes and name on them. Take a closer look at Bob Watson, Dallas Eliuk, Pat O' Toole, and Matt King when you get a chance.

The best pictures I could find are on the Portland LumberJax website:

Well yeah, they are sponsored by reebok so all the sybols seen by the public have to be the reebok ones. The whole purpose of sponsorhip is to get you name out there, its the best form of advertising.

I knew about the whole Reebok deal. However, what I really want to know is whether or not Reebok has a deal going with Eagle Hockey in regards to the goalie gloves. Even though they may be the same glove physically on the outside, some goalies have Reebok and some have Eagle on them.

Its not tape that they have on it its a choice that if you get signed you can get RBK's or the oringinal Eagles.

No way. So are you saying Reebok bought the rights to produce Eagle Sentry model gloves. Which is why they are no longer in production? It looks pretty much like they've put a RBK tape logo over the Eagles. I was studying Watsons gloves at the game and on TV. This would be interesting to find out.

i to study watsons gloves, but only i was 12 rows behind him. its not tape its stitched on. and sentries are no longer made because the european company that made the plastick on the back hand went under.

Reebok did not buy out eagle. Eagle only makes a couple pairs of sentries a year because of manufacturing problems with the plastic. The nll goalies get those pairs leaving everyone else to be stuck with furys. The logo on both the furys and sentries is just a reebok sticker put over the apropriate name

I called Kirby Sports, and because Eagle couldnt find anyone to make the plastic part of the glove, they did not make anythis year. Can you guys sugest anything else other then the sentry's or the furry's?
