Go for it, they have such a good program. They came down to florida and played a bunch of schools and they wooped our varsity team. This is the McDonagh in Maryland right.

if you dont go there... where would you end up? i mean it would be nice to go there being that they are very good but you could also go somewhere else that still has a good team but not as high of a competition level..... giving you more playing time

I think that if you get into that school then go for it. There is no substitute for a great education. The lax will be nice but make sure you'd be happy there without lacrosse. The school is probably pretty preppy too and make sure that fits into who you are. A good education can be had through public schools yes, trust me I went to great ones, but now that I'm at boarding school I think there is nothing better.

If your graduating in 08 like I am, your a freshmen, so how do you ALREADY know your going to play lax for syracuse?
that's from the gonzaga beats landon post.

you're either a liar or just plain stupid. from the quote i just provided, you say you're a senior, which apparently, you're not. i'm a senior in HS going to SU next year. you're probably a freshman in HS wanting to go to mcdonogh as a sophomore. so there's no way you're graduating in '08.

he can't graduate HS in '08 if he's a freshman. he'll have to graduate in '07 and college in '11...in theory.

I would say go for it. IMO there is no substitue for a private school education and if you have the chance then you should never turn it down. The only thing I would say if make sure you like the school without lacrosse. Most of the people there will probably be pretty preppy so make sure thats your type of crowd.
