Dude, if you are going to get a cheap heard, for say, below 30 dollars, you need to go with a Gait Icon. Those are the sickest begginners heads i have ever played with. They are very stiff, so they could work for defense if necessary, they have a very nice pinch, for good ball handling, and are good and durable. I have had mine for 2 years and only have a miner crack on the throat, and it doesnt impair the way the stick plays in any way at all. If you are interested, there is also a review for it on www.laxnation.com. All in all it is a very good all around begginners head.
