What are the measurements for the head. Going across. in case you dont understand the measurements for how pinched it is allowed to be.

6.5 inches at the widest part is the minimum.

the widest part being the top of the head? or where it is most pinched?

any where on the head, but i've never seen it anywhere but the top

it's measured at the widest point BUT from the inside of the wall/head. Sometimes the pinched heads will measure longer than the allowed 10"

The only cocern with the pinched part is that the ball has to come out freely when tilted forward in the stick check. A lot of the newer narrow-throat sticks have problems here, especially if the stringing is holding the ball as well.

A stick that has obviously been pinched is considered to be altered and therefore illegal.
