Okay..im in love with Harrow.....i just got a buch of gear from them(shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves) The Shoulder pads broke in a game...the stiching came undone and the pad fell off. and my gloves just broke last night, the little string that goes acrosse the bottom. so im wondering if anyone else has had problems with their gear. and i spent all my money on it so i cant even get new stuff

Yeah you should contact Harrow. From what I've heard they're really good with dealing with equipment problems and might even offer to replace some of your stuff if you haven't had it for too long.

Does anyone actually know why Harrow went hollow? Is it just based on manufacturing costs?

Weren't harrow shafts always hollow. Because my friend got the I-Beam when they first came out and when he cracked it in half and it was hollow.

I Called up Harrow Sports at their 1800 number to get the answer for you members of the forum that were a little confused about the whole solid/hollow shaft problem.

Anyway after i talked to the associate for about 10 minutes i got all the answers. Nothing has changed at harrow in the making of these shafts. All of their shafts have ALWAYS been hollow and not one has come from production as a solid shaft. Of course shafts like the Monster and Box have thicker sidewalls, the same can be said for the howitzer. But no shaft has ever gone off of their line as a solid Shaft. The weight alone would make it so the shaft could not be played with.

I mean if you think about it a field attack is 200G and a Monster is 280G simply because the monster has thicker sidewalls. Could you imagine how heavy one of their shafts would be if it were completely solid Carbon Graphite/Fiberglass...

That could be a possible question to e-mail them with. Post a picture if you can, but from what I was told there never solid.

My 2 Howitzer's and my Monster are not solid at all. The butt of the Monster is molded closed as to look like a solid shaft but the other end is open. Same with the Howitzer's but they have an end cap molded on the butt.

The new field attacks seem heavier than the old ones, any ideas why. Maybe they are thicker. Because my old FA ways less than the new FA's.
