So it's April vacation for us kids in New Hampshire....so I thought I'd give myself a project and a little surprise for my girlfriend when she got back from the Bahamas....so I grabbed one of her old sticks (but it's practically brand new) and decided I'd put a nice dye job on it and have my go at an RP on a girls stick (but it's not even close to being an accurate RP)

So I went with some pink and added her initials to the top left corner and her # to the top right corner in white

wat did u do to get the letters and numbers? did u just put sticker numbers and letters on before u dye it? or do u have to do something else

I put electrical tape on a piece glass then with a box cutter (be careful!!!) I cut out the numbers and letters then applied to the head

no he gently slised the tape not cutting the glass... lol it makes it so you can peel the tape off and still use it...

I want to see a picture of your whole pocket. There are ALOT of rules to girls pockets. I can tell you if its legal. I also did an RP in a girls stick. I call it the 'am17,RIG' For Rock-It Girl.

You look legal(But barley...you just have 8 stitches per leather..(One less would be illegal)), but im debating the legality of the top coil, and the twisted sidewalls... (Girls rules are really strict)

Yea stickers work just fine, and I used a piece of broken glass from a window I broke with a lax ball.....be careful

I just took a few shots with it and from my little experience with girls sticks I think it threw pretty good

no, i believe it's how many stitches are one each one of the outer leathers. I think you have 8, so it's legal.

The problem w/ your center channel is the saddle. It's hard to determine if it's one big knot or bunches of little ones that are barely spaced apart. Depending on how it's interpreted, that creates problems w/ the 8-12 stitches rule.

The coil is actually part of the red 'thongs' or strings that run from the scoop to the throat. I ran a piece of sidewall from one side across then tied a knot then ran it down to the throat as a thong then repeat it again from the other side but on the way across the scoop i made the coil around the other string i used then made it into the other thong.

And I guess if it isn't legal then oh well, all that work for nothing, but it was still fun and I can't wait to see her happy

pretty good, only on RP twisted sidewals, they are not nearly as twisted as yours are, only about 1 time vs. your 3-4
