Stringing Problem

Can some one tell me their technique for stringing. I have tried evrything from just stringing with no ball to putting a ball under a pencil on top of the center leathers. Please list your techniques or post a video or pics showing how you string.

i string customs the way kryptic does in his tutorial, I use a ball and knife to form the pocket while I'm stringing it.
