I go to the gym regularly and with lacrosse season coming up for me (yeah i know its late) it would be nice to focus a bit more on the muscles I will need for the game time. Which muscles would you reccomend focusing on, or any special exercises you know of that can be done at home?

I found that I got a lot out of leg exercises.. lunges, squats, sled, etc..
it really gave me a noticeable "spring" in my step my first year of college

I had the exact same experience. I also found that strengthening my back helped bump my shot speed up a notch.

yeah i was reading the US lacrosse magazine and they said that you need to work on the core. this includes glutes, hamstrings, hip flexors, calves, abdonimals, and low back muscles. and then it goes on to say you need to priotorize their lifting program that will benefit them for lacrosse first then the beach 2nd. this also can depend on if your a speedy guy or more of a power guy.

Hahahahaha that is so true. I have been doing Chest-tris and then Back-bis only at the gym and keep neglecting the legs even though I know I shouldn't and my legs would benefit me more.
