I was playing in a JV game today (field) and before the game started a ref sent an attackmen from the other team off the field b/c he had no butt on his stick. (it was a harrow) The team was ok with this because it was before the game even started. But later in the 2nd quarter the reff sent a different kid off the filed for not having a butt and a new player came on with no call made. Now i am wonndering what the call is on this.
Does the reff give the kid a penalty? or does the kid just go tape it up?
i was thinking that this must be a penalty because it is the same as your stick being illegal.
