walk into anywhere with two sticks and a ball...
keep trying...the inertia of getting started is sometimes horrible, but it will happen...locally here, it's taken me five months to get 17 players...I believe the next five months will see the program top 100 players, from age 3 to adult...
that's always how a new program starts....incredibly slow, but persevere, it will happen...

How can you not have numbers show up...you're in Baltimore. Isn't it illegal to live in Baltimore and not know about lacrosse/not care about lacrosse?

Call the Bayhawks marketing department and ask about getting some promotional game tix at a very reduced rate, or to hold a clinic at your school. That should drum up some interest.

How I got started in the sport, was at the end of the fall sports season my freshman year of high school, the lax coach called a meeting with the JV soccer and football teams in the cafeteria. He sat us down, had us watch some highlights of games, and invited us all to come out.
He only needed to really sway a few guys, because once there were like 4 or 5 guys from each team joining up, then everyone kind of followed suit. It worked out really well. We had the single most athletic team in the league for all four years I was in high school, and wound up going to the MD 3A-4A final four with a bunch of guys that all started the game their freshman year.
A few of us wound up playing college ball too.
