At the moment we are not looking for a coach but most likely for next year. I can not go into detail but our coach has quit. I wanted to know if there are any lacrosse coaches with high school experience in the Maryland area that would like to coach a varsity lacrosse team. We are a public school with a small lacrosse program so there would probably be little or no money. It would be for the love of coaching. I just wanted to see if we could get a coach because we usually have a local/ parent as coach. Nothing final, just curious. thanks

Yeah, I'm a coach in MD, but where in MD are we talking. Additionally, public school coaches generally have to be teachers, at least head coaches.

Western MD, more specifically montgomery county. Our real "head coach" was a teacher but our other coach who was not a teacher was our head coach, he made all decisions w/ player, plays ect.

Good luck snow. You're a bit far from me. I'm in Harford County.

Which school in Monkey County? I know lots of guys with coaching experience I could point in the MCPS direction.

Damascus is still a pretty specific part of MoCo. Im in Silver Spring and thats a good 40 minutes from Damascus. (I was there this weekend.) Maybe theres a more local place you can look? I bet your coaches now know people.
