well first I don't know why you're asking us instead of your mom, coach, trainer, doctor... but if I was going to suggest anything Id say it's possible that it is anxiety attacks just caused by having a lot of adrenaline in your system. Is your pulse rapid too?

Some others will know a lot more about this than me, but it seems like you are doing everythig right. Depending on what you eat, you may want more cabohydrates. I know if I don't eat enough, I get really tired, too. It could also be the weather. We finally got warm weather here (almost 70, which is hot here) and everyone is really tired. You might need to eat less at each more, but eat more often. BigDman has some threads about that, I think. At your age you may be still growing a lot (I was still growing then) and that tends to make you tired, too. Also, if you can get an extra hour of sleep, that helps. I know I never get enough sleep during the week and I am dragging by Thursday or so.

what shirt do you wear during practice because i noticed that under armor doesnt really work for me so i just take my shirt off right before practice and just wear shoulder pads with a practice jersey.

2 meals a day?! That isn't giving you near the right amount of energy to make you get through a day. On average i try to eat anything about every 3 hours each day. My eating schedule kind of looks like this (on a school day):

Daily Eating

1. Breakfast 6:30 -Bowl of Cereal and a piece of toast with peanut butter and a glass of OJ

2. Snack 9:00-9:30 -1/2 Cup of Trail Mix or a Protein Bar

3. Lunch 11:00 -Sandwich, Piece of Fruit, Yogurt, maybe cookies, Water

4. Snack 2:00-2:30 -Piece of Fruit or a Protein Bar

5. Snack 5:00-5:30 -Some leftovers from the night before

6. Dinner 7:00-7:30 -Whatever is being cooked (Divide plate into 1/3's; 1/3 Color (veggies), 1/3 Starch, 1/3 Protein)

7. (optional) Snack 9:30

I do this and I am not a small guy, I am 5'2" and about 100 lbs.

Practice Schedule

Pre-Practice
Before practice if I have not eaten within 1/2 an hour of starting practice I will just have a handful of crackers (preferably white, transfer to energy quicker) and a glass of water.

Post-Practice
After practice you should have about 40 carbs for work out recovery. 40 carbs isn't that many, a banana has about 40 carbs. And another glass of water.

Finally drink lots of water.

Hope this helps, good luck

you might also be going through a growth spurt which takes a lot of energy out of your body even if you are in shape and eat healthy

No problem at all.

Oh ya and sleep is very crucial, that could be another reason you are so tired. I usually go to bed at about 9-10 and that make the next morning a lot easier. That gives me about 8-9 hours of sleep.

eat more. You are overtraining. take time off. Sleep more. Hydrate.

For every 15 minutes of intense activity have 1/4 cup of Gatorade and as much water as you feel is necessary. That is what my nutritionist said.

i missed two days of practice this week because i was sick. i felt the same as you. cramps , wasnt running as fast. just out of it lol. i think what helped me was sleep. i feel really bad when i get less than around 8 and a half hours of sleep but i do also go to work right after practice . but you should get more sleep.

To find out how much water you should drink a day my nutritionist told me this. You take your body weight and divide that in half. Whatever number you get is how many milliliters of water you need a day.

For example, someone weighing 150 lbs. should drink 75 milliliters of water a day.
