I am a new to stringing sticks but I think that I am catching on pretty quick. I started out with this one: the Wide Ride that I found on e-lacrosse.com. When I first strung this stick it had a ton of whip and the ball was hitting the top of the head on release. The ball control was great though. To compensate the whip I put in 5 shooting strings. It still has great control but now the ball releases cleanly and exactly the same each time. I'm open to any suggestions.
Thanks,
Burleson

hey man welcome to lacrosse forums. try and clean it up a bit man. also your knots look too tight on the leathers. if your gettin wrinkles/creases on the leathers its too tight.

Don't loosen the knots but try to straighten out the leathers.

ok. I can straigten out the leathers. I have been playing with this stringing for about 3 weeks, so it's pretty broken in. The leathers are getting pretty soft. Thanks for the feedback.

not to be a jerk, but you might want to clean that up. and welcome to the lacrosse forums. I did a wide ride for a friend and he really liked it

I'd try pulling the leathers alittle tighter to straighten it out if u have done so already.
