i strung this at the beginning of the season for my golie. its not the best i have done but i think its alright. sorry if the pictures arnt that good.

You shouldn't use open sidewalls with 20d because it creates so much lip that it becomes impossible to throw with.

If anything, do slightly loose closed sidewalls and let the mesh break itself in. Other than that, good job.

alright thanks. the mesh wasnt stretching to have that big of a pocket so thats why i did open sidewall. but it still doesnt have any lip when i thow with it, so i guess its fine for now. but thanks for the advice!

hmm ya the open sidewalls might eventually cause a problem. About a week from now the mesh will bag out and it might make something wrong. However the pocket is pretty low so maybe not.

nice job on that one

That looks really good. But my knowledge of how a goalie pocket is supposed to look is slightly limited.

Yea, i would close those sidewalls (though i too have limited knowledge of goalie sticks). It may throw good now, but as soon as it breaks in it will have whip.

Wow. This is crazy. My back-up stick is like a mirrior image of your stick, everything is exactly the same.
