Ok Sorry that I am a noob dyer, but I need some help:
1. Where do I but the dye? What is the best kind? Which store has best selection?
2. AM I right if I want to have white dots or sometihng on my stick I use hot glue?
3. How do you fade from one color to another. I have an answer and my school colors are blue and gold. Any suggestions?

Thnank you all in advance. The search tool is not working for me for some reason so I couldnt find anout thread on ALL of these questions.

Thanks again. Once again I am really sorry for this thread, but it might help the people who dont feel like searching.

You can buy the dye at any local crafts shop, or like a walmart, maybe a CVS, something along those lines, the dye you want to get is called RIT dye. it should be sold at the places mentioned above. Yes you can use hot glue to get dots on your stick, just know it is a pain to take all the hot glue so once you finish the dyeing and let it dry COMPLETLY, stick your head in the fridge to get the glue cold so it pops off easier. Then to do a fade, stick you head in which ever way you want the fade, if you want it the fade going from top to bottom (meaning the top or scoop is white and the bottom is the color you want it) stick your head in the dye, 3/4 or 1/2 the way in, then gradually pull it out, so the least dye is in the middle and most is on the bottom, then just do the opposite for the opposite fade, ( so the most dye is on the top and least is on the bottom). ide say if your colors are blue and gold dye the whole head gold, then do a fade going from gold to blue. So the top is gold then it fades to blue around the neck. lemme know if you need any more info.

The colours you will want are Golden Yellow and a nice dark blue. Probally Navy Blue. Be careful on the navy so it dosen't come out green. GL.

Beaver has been helpful but i have found out that navy dye comes out purple.
I would use a denim blue.
