I need help with stretching mesh because whenever I hand stretch the mesh it takes FOREVER and is never really stretched.
Does anyone have a quick, easy, and effective way of stretching mesh without getting a lot of lip??
BTW: I searched but didn't find anything that answered my question exactly.

well i have a cool way of stretching mesh. (i created this for hard mesh or types of mesh that are as hard.) 1. take your new mesh sit in front of a tv and just stretch it with your hands for an hour. 2. put your mesh in luke warm water let it sit for 30 min, then under water stetch it again, leave it in water again for 20 min. take out and stretch. 3.make a stretcher thing like i did. (how to make it: get a nice sized board put as many nails on both sides so that each diamond has a nail through it. when u make the stretcher which i d do before u wet the mesh. put the wet mesh on your stretcher, leave it there for a day. 4. take mesh off stretcher and slightly wet mesh, string the mesh do the ball and knife trick leave it for a couple days. take it out play with it take a spray bottle wet the strung mesh do the ball and knife trick leave in for a few more days. and then it should be good. ive done this on my warrior hardmesh and 2 jimalax hard meshes. hope this helps sorry for it being long. :worship:

Heres my way of streching the mesh and getting a great pocket.
1. Turn on your sink to hot and wait until you get steam.
2. Put the mesh under the running water and strech it while wetting it.
3. After it is thouroly soaked, turn off the water and strech the mesh for like 2 minites.
4. String the mesh while it is wet.
5. When you are done stringing it, run hot water over it again until the mesh is thouraly wet.
6. Pound the pocket for 5-10 minites
7 Use ball and knife trick or just put a ball in the pocket and put the stick on a table so the head is hanging off the table.
and your good to go.

The ol ball and butter knife thing is a good idea
What you can also do is place the ball in teh pocket and secure it with the butter knife. then, wet the pocket and rub fabric softerner on it for a few minutes. after rubbin gthe fabric softener, dont do anything, leave the secured ball in teh stick until the pocket dries, then wet it again, and let it dry again. should work.

Yea but it really makes it a hassle and unless u use the 2 balls and butter knives tricke it doesn't stretch it that good. Use James and kwicks idea it works

Mine are about 7 inches. It gives a pretty good stretch on the mesh so maybe go with alittle less
