my bro's trident palms are beginning to get holes in the leather. however under the leather is this layer of mesh just like the ignitors....if large holes appear and the mesh is exposed.....is it illegal???????

I dont think so, i think they are illegal if there is absolutely nothing between your hand and the shaft, so the mesh should be fine, otherwise how would all the mesh palmed gloves be legal?

yeah..natural wear and tear is ok..i have a little missing in my palm and the refs don't care...i have gotten checked every game too..
