if titanium is so strong why isnt it light?....because wouldnt the strength allow it to make really thin sidewalls therefore it would be light.
thanks

its stonger than most metals but it would be weak if it was thin its only strong when its thick

And that's exactly what they did with the levitation, and it's known to dent a lot. Titanium shafts for their stregth are very light, though. 6.5 ounces isn't much more than most alloy shafts, but it's much stronger

id go titanium over any other medal shaft besides magnesium. titanium, carbon compostie, and magnum shafts are tied in my book.
(compostite not for its strength, but flexibility)

I do not mean to flame here, but this statement is absolutely incorrect. Titanium shafts are stronger than aluminum primarily because Titanium has a much lower density than aluminum making it a tougher material to build lacrosse shafts out of. The problem with a low density is an increase in weight. Titanium shafts are not strong because of their thickness although that helps.

wood is better then anything it never bends and it will almost never break and making paper and a lacrosse shaft are 2 compleatley different processes :dummy: :dummy: :dummy:
the best shafts on the market other then wood are Debeer orange crushers

the best shafts on the market other then wood are Debeer orange crushersI think his comparison was good. He wasnt actualy thinking of making a paper shaft.
