in the new issue of espn the magazine there are two articles about the nll.

What, did they run out of stuff to write about the "World Series of Poker"? Oh wait...thats right....thats what prevents the NLL or any other lacrosse from being shown on the "best sports network ever".

its not on newstands yet it should probably be out about monday. only subscribers have gotten it. pages 60 and 116. one is about the colorado sock trick and the other is about how the nll may replace hockey on espn if it goes on a lockout

whats the sock trick and do they mean the sport nll will replace hockey or nll players will be interim players, if so good idea but totally different playing medium and nll guys woiuld have to learn to skate real good

They cannot replace the NHL for the NLL. That would be a serious mistake! Hockey is a lot better than the NLL.

If it goes lockout they can. There will be no NHL on TV. I like how they would replace it with the NLL but dont really understand why. I mean im sure they have other stuff, but it is good for lacrosse.

ok i read the articles today so to clear things up

the nll replacing nhl had like a tiny paragraph about the nll the rest was the troubling nhl. but it did say its only logical the nll moches off the nhl stadiums and fans have extra time if the lockout happens so why not something with some of the same elements at the same place.

then the sock trick is a term to discribe six goals like hat trick is 3. it was just a paragraph and picture of socks on the feild and saying gary gait got 6 goals so everyone threw socks on the feild.

yeah i was just surprised how little the articcle was about the nll when the picture and the story was (i think i cant exactly remember)
