Ah seasons over!

ya, my school season is over, so i can go home early, but i still have a team outside of school that has a game every weekend

I had my last game today but we lost against an undefeated team. It feels like the season went by really fast but I'm doing summer teams and camps so its all good.

holy crap. u guys end so early. how many games did you guys play? I play 19 games in all this season i have like 2 -3 more weeks in the regular season and then its playoffs.

Yep, ours just ended this thursday. Right now I'm glad to have a break, but in a couple of days I know I'm going to miss it!

We have 3 games left plus a tournament. Last game is May 25th:( I just can't wait for the summer camps and the winter league.

Anybody else a senior with no chance of playing even club ball? It's pretty sad, actually. We were in the top 5 teams in the state. We played Waterford, which is basically tied for number one with Jordan, Riverton and Waterford. Waterford lost to Jordan, Jordan lost to Riverton, and Riverton lost to Waterford. We were 9-3 and the number two north division seed in the playoffs. Oddly enough, the #3 north seed got to play a much easier team than we did, and then played Jordan. Jordan is our rival in lacrosse, but not much else. Anyway, we played our last regular season game against undefeated Olympus (only undefeated team left in the state) and lost by two. So, we secured the #2 seed and ended up 8-1 in our conference. Not bad. Yesterday we played Waterford. We were supposed to lose by four. They have excellent players, like Nebeker and some other kids. Well, it was 5-5 until I think 2+ minutes left in the 4th quarter. We couldn't score. Granted, the refs killed some of our opportunities when they didn't call two holds and a ward against the other team. With 47 seconds left, they gave it to their best player, and he managed to hold it against a triple team, including our best defensive middie, goalie and best defender. It was a crazy ride, and we graduated 15 seniors last year and I think 19 this year. We had the best defense in the state. It was a nail-biter of a game, with very little scoring. We held every team we played to their lowest score. Too bad our offense wasn't as strong. We lost 3 of the best attackmen in the state last year. So we had to start with about 5 fairly inexperienced kids, one from Virginia, and one straight from junior leagues. They weren't great at scoring, and towards the end of the year I think we forgot how to score more than 10 goals a game. I managed to score once, which was a grand achievement for me. Lacrosse has been a great ride, but also stressful, among other things. Next year I get to watch BYU play, and they just lost in the MDIA semis. Dang it. Also, I get to coach 7th and 8th graders in Provo, about a mile from where I live. I may not get to play competitively, but I do get to coach. That's going to be a lot of fun.

Our season ended yesterday. I'm going to camps, and doing indoor in the fall.

Ya it sucks my season ended this saturday (5/20). We finished 5-12 (varsity), not too bad for a first year program. W/e football starts soon.
