I need it pretty light.

k-lyte and a revo pro or evo pro. Your gonna need a strong head, and revo pro is a very good d head, k-lyte is a really light shaft

try to work on your arm muscles so that weight wont be as much of a problem

Weight is always a problem. I'm strong but I find the extra weight unecessary for throwing quick checks.

watch the revos pros. i have one and they tend to warp a bit near the throat. not a lot but enough to make it barely illegal. i have one and sometimes it falls out when turned upside down, sometimes not. id just got with a regular revolution

I have the regular Revo generously given to me by GBaschski of the forums & i personally love it. I play a lot & throw many checks & so far it's holding up well. Out of heads I've had that were worth anything at all I've broken a wizard, razer, H2 & triton.....different reasons; some were old, one was during a tournament & it was cold but either way I've been using the Revo for about a month or 2 & it's beautiful. Revo or Revo Pro, K-lyte for a shaft...if you don't mind mixing company names an ignite optra isn't a bad investment at all...I haven't used one of the new designs but I assume other then the physical display strength & weight are still the same in which it works very well

the Sc brine shaft not Ti is really light and tough, about the same as a Kltye but you cant go wrong with a kryptolyte those are awesome shafts for d

if you want a good light d shaft go with a wonderboy regular or excel, i highly recomend that, and for head look for a revo pro or not, i like the revo because it is not pinched so you have a bigger area to get passes and you save 20 bucks, but for shafts look at db803 and the ignite series, they are ok but not great, another option is to look at the platinum alloy they hold up well usually

a good d pole is the db803, and its not to expensive but if ur looking for cheaper i think the warrior platnum alloy could work. thats what i started with and its been good, and pretty light/ strong.
