I have last year's supercrosses. I stripped them down a little though by taking the tricep/bicep pad thing off. Yea I get hit there, but I'd rather have the mobility...

I have the Warrior Hitmen with the shoulder pad and bicept area part cut off, its less protective than my old adam's liners but they have great mobility. I dont think its legal though but I've never seen anyone get their sp's checked.

Some warrior pads I got a couple years ago. Not the mll stuff, its called the millenium gear or something like that. I plan on getting g-force sp's or gladiators pretty soong though.

Mine are old STX ones that are too small and my heart area is exposed. I think I am getting ones next season

I have rhinoskins, and I've had them for 2 years, they're pretty beat, so I'll for sure get new ones next season. Not to hijack the thread, but any recommendations for light pads that run small under 65 bucks?

i use warrior mpg 4.0's. if i could use any shoulder pads, i'd probably use g-forces.

05-13-2006, 06:18 PM
i wear G-Forces, they are perfect... ultra mobility and so light, but still a little protection

does anybody have rhinoskins and not like them?

Warrior MPG 3.0s. They have a little more flexibility in the shoulders which i like.

i have rhinoskin and its great for mobility but not so good with protection... ive had them for almost three years and they are still in pretty good shape

STX Fusions are cheap and nice...

But Warrior Ultralytes are my personally choice(and I play Center Mid and take FOs...)

I use shoulder pads...need i say more? You are required to wear shoulder pads. I asked what type you used:
Post which shoulder pads you use and, if you could have any other shoulder pad what would you get and why?

Don't bother posting in this thread anymore.

Some old crappy Warrior beginner pads. Had them for 5 years. They're perfect. I've worn good shoulder pads and they do nothing more than these do. The only good padding I use is on my elbows.

Brine Avalnche, I think they are called. The smallest ones i could find, and they are flexible.

Shoulder pads are for the weak. If you wear shoulder pads post college you will get beat on more out of principle.

Yea, but they fill out my jersey, even if i'm still in college :chuckle: I think the cheapest pair I could find. Maybe Brine avalanche or trident or somethin i dunno. They cost like 40 bucks or so.

Yea I switch between the adams vinyl liner, spartan cores (which are the best), and like Vent X's, Minimum Padding=Maximum Mobility

i have the gait intrepids and love them. they're so minimal(took off the bicep pads of coarse) and have so much mobility

ive got the warrior hitmen and i cut like all the crap on them like the sternum and back pads as well as the huge like armadillo shoulder cap things. they are so sweet now and they seem to offer mediocer protection but also are very small.

I rock G-Forces. I got these for only $60, and they're better than anything out there. They offer great protection, offer great mobility, and were an ultra steal!

Thats harsh haha. I couldnt imagine going without mine. I only wear the chest part but I get backslashed all the time and it still hurts. Maybe I am a weak one but protecting my back is worth being called weak.
