If you're set on it, just be casual about it, you don't have to be all formal or anything. Just be like hey, wanna go out to [wherever] with me some time? Odds are, they will say yes, but in middle school eh, maybe, maybe not. If they say no, just brush it off and be like alright, that's cool. If they're not totally stuck up or whatever, they won't make a big deal of it or embarrass you or whatever. But I would wait until at least high school to date, cuz if you have a car, you can go wherever and people are more mature.

yeah man, deffinately wait until highschool. I had a girlfriend in 6th grade - I had 'liked' her ever since 3rd or 4th grade, and then in 6th i asked her out, we went out for a week, went on a group date to the movie 'What Women Want,' and then I got my friend to dump her on AIM for me.

Here's my look on it. . . high school and college, why not have short relationships or just hook ups because you need to explore and experiment with types of girls that fit you.
