If players left early...

If college lax players could leave for the MLL in college after their junior year or whenever they wanted, how do you think college lax would be now? How do you think the MLL would be now? What would this years draft look like?

I dont think many players would. The main reason people do it for the NBA (very few do it for the NFL if I'm correct) is because of the money and media exposure. In professional lacrosse there is none of that. Most of these guys know the sense in sticking around to get a degree instead of trying to fly all over the country just to get a aprx $20,000 a year.

I would say the college game would suffer too if this ever happened...

i'd stay in college for sure. say you stay in college then play pro lax. 20,000 for a partime job is nice.

first off this would never happen....our sport doesnt offer enough money or other employment oppurtunites for this to occur so y even bring it up...and of course it would impact the game...but our sport unlike other sports there will always be amazing players at all age levels...because you can practice and become better or even great lacrosse is about how athletic you are and how much you practice because you arent a great player until you put in the time ask any college player how much time they spent practicing or even high school all star...personally i shot 100 to 300 shots a day no matter what rain snow sun whatever im out shooting.....so i dont think it would impact all that greatly....
except for the fact that you wouldnt get the legacys as the Gaits and the Powells

There is nothing else to talk about, so I brought it up. Its interesting to think about. I agree, until there is enough media and salary being dished out, its not worth it.

yeah....haha you live in rochester??? i do watching the powells is tight and my old coach is the trainner for the rattlers...so i got to hang out with them after practice one time at his house his son is my good friend...its kinda great when you walk into your friends house and sitting down playing poker is ryan and casey powell
